I still wish I could get that Zenith that's at the shop where I teach. I do get to play it at least a half hour a week, more if someone cancels a lesson, but I'd like to take it home.
I do have a Gretsch that I'd like to trade for one.

Here's my Gretsch Synchromatic.

It has a Fishman saddle pickup.

These are my four Harmony guitars, LtoR: 1969 H933, my first guitar, 1955 Patrician archtop made the year I was born, 1979 Broadway archtop that was a gift from my mother in laws, and a 1971 Sovereign that was my second guitar.

Hey Edward, I love those old sixties and seventies Harmony Sovereigns. They were the best guitar for under $400 for a long while, but folks seem to have discovered their value in the last few years and the price has gone up.

I know the new Epi has a built in pickup with discrete controls in the f hole, but did you have one installed in the 1948 Zenith? How do they compare?
