This is nothing firm at the moment. I have my 2018 Guild OM-140ce listed on the local craigslist, and if it sells the Artist Studio is going nowhere, but...
I've decided that having more that four acoustic guitars (including my 12-string in that count) is the upper limit for me—there's not enough time in the day for me to play more than four as much as they deserve and I've been finding that I've been neglecting some of my guitars as a result. I'd rather see them being loved and played by someone who will give them the attention they deserve. In fact, I've already sold my 2007 Seagull Performer (spruce over wild cherry lam, and with the QII pickup system).
After my experience with my Eastman E10D, which I absolutely love, I intend to pick up a spruce/rosewood Eastman also -- if I do, my trio of guitars that I take out to solo gigs will be the E10D, this new Eastman (one or the other of the Eastmans tuned in DADGAD), and a Guild F212 12-String, with the 4th guitar being my 'office/couch' guitar that I use to figure out tunes or write songs when the mood strikes.
My initial (and still current) thought was that the Artist Studio would become the office/couch guitar because I have a lot of affection for that guitar—we've been together for several years and it's a very nice instrument, but the Guild OM could fill the office/couch role well enough. So if I could sell the Artist Studio in place of the Guild, I'd be tempted to do that. Hence this post.
I'd be asking about $900 for the Artist Studio, but might drop it to $850+shipping for someone here in the cabin. Hence this post—to see if there are Cabin folk who have GAS for an Artist Studio from the Good Ole Days of Seagull. Let me know if you're one of those and if I decide to sell the Studio in lieu of the Guild OM, I can give you more information and pics.
