My fingers seldom to never find themselves in the position in the picture. My fingertip callouses are heaviest right behind the fingernail - right where the holes are. I can't say that I could ever use this product.....

Not a good place for a guitar player to find him or herself.

The description calls them finger picks

I neglected to put the eBay link?
Seems all the eBay sellers call them fingerpicks.. As silicon finger picks i doubt they can produce much volume.

I did a Search By Image on google and found them at aliexpress where they are called:
Guitar Fingertip Protectors Silicone Finger Guards protection guitar Parts accessories finger exercises tool fingerstall (sic)
SO my first guess was right.

Jim,There is no end to the products developed to create a "need".

Recent example I saw, K&M of the crap overpriced capo fame, is selling a belt clip that acts as a guitar rest.
