Agree with you Tony, Mahogany guitars do seem to be getting more popular.
Think it is just a fashion thing, or the industry is trying to persuade us to use Mahogany due to Spruce getting harder to find.

We all have our own preferences, here is mine, first Spruce, second Cedar, third Mahogany, but to be fair I haven't tried any other woods that I can think of, not a real fan of laminate top guitars.
