While it's not a very pretty looking bass, it was owned by one of the greatest, and probably THE most influential electric bass players ever. That provenance alone should put the price far outa my range.

Similar to Hank Williams' D-28 or Buddy Holly's J45 or Bill Monroe's F5; a piece of history.
