I have owned a few electrics, the first being an ES-175 that I bought right after my first full time job. I sold it around 1970 to buy my first Martin. In the late '90s I bought an Epiphone Emperor (which later became known as the "Joe Pass model"). I sold that to my brother Dave about ten years ago. My son bought me a Tele clone with noiseless pick-ups and I still own it, but don't play it often enough to justify owning it. Guess I'm an acoustic guy at heart.
A rare electric gig with the Epiphone Emporer
The only photo I could find of the ES-175. My brother painted this circa 1968.
-1962 Martin D-21 -1950 Gibson LG1 -1958 Goya M-26 -1974 Yamaha FG75 high strung -A number of banjos, mandolins, Autoharps, ukuleles, dulcimers, mouth harps, a Tele clone and various other stuff. -I own a fiddle, but only play it when Maggie and the cats are all out of the house.
Just for the hell of it, thought I'd put a video on, this is the model guitar I bought a few weeks ago. Went you the local guitar shop today, they didn't have the Line 6 pod in, said they may get some near Christmas time. Just found out a local public house (pub), is having a "acoustic guitar night", it's one of those nights, when anyone can take their Guitar in and do a song, think I will go along just to watch, wouldn't have the bottle to get up and do a song. 😀
