Thanks @sleigh . Yeh, I wont need a looper or a delay. I am just looking at a touch of reverb on the strumming, and maybe a little bit more on the appregios or acoustic lead parts (in the rare instance that I venture there). The chorus is a nice to have I guess.
My other option is to leave the pedals completely, and get a Roland AC60 or AC90 chorus amp. Both those are 2 channel amps, each channel with built in 3 band EQ, 1 channel has a reverb and chorus effects function. The other has a Delay funciton. There is a "subwoofer out" option to add more bass. Can also be put on a stand above your head, and has a fold out stand that allows it to kickback as a feedback monitor. And a carry bag. Some very decent features. The other option is the bose L1. But thats pricey!
The beauty of a clean PA type system is that I can plug my POD HD500x through it, and it should present most of the amp models on the POD quite nicely - Not much to colour the tone.
I sold my Cort P90 Les Paul for the same price I bought it. Cool guitar, but I always knew it was not a keeper. I just wanted play around a bit. So now I'm putting that cash into some light effects and amp solutions
