It took him a year to fill it, then I reformatted it and added conditional formatting for the color. He's glad he did, he uses it every day. It's much easier than searching thru the old product sheets.

Might want to ask Michel if he's got a more recent copy of that spreadsheet. I was in e-mail contact with him a few weeks ago asking for information about my Duet CW Rosewood Custom, which, according to the spreadsheet, only came with cedar top. Mine is spruce, and Michel seemed to not believe me until I sent him pics. So I'm not sure if I have an undocumented rarity or if the databases they maintain aren't accounting for a spruce top Duet CW Rosewood Custom. Hopefully he updated the spreadsheet after our conversation.

The spreadsheet is fantastic work Dave! (and Michel). FWIW, like whyteshadow I had a spruce topped Grand back in the 90s (the first Seagull I bought for my daughter, which she subsequently sold). I know it was spruce. I'm guessing the records from back then are spotty.

I just started on making a spreadsheet for vintage Harmony guitars based on this archived website. web.archive.org/web/20080113115748/http://harmony.demont.net/ It's going to be A LOT of work. There are many versions of each page of the website, it evolved over time, some data was eliminated and some was added. I'll have to look at every page for each guitar (399). I'm mainly interested in the acoustic Flatops, before the low end Stella era starting in 1972.
