Hi, happy to find this forum. Good, non sales info is hard to come by. Been a beginner, cowboy chords, for over 50 years and never heard of seagull until 2017....I now have 3 First was a 98 s6, it plays itself, almost. Then a maritime sws, nice too. Lastly, an artist studio. Its a pretty rascal with a big sound but the action is a little high. I'll get that improved. Posted from my phone and didn't see anyway to post a pic.

Welcome!! It seems it's hard to find much info on Seagulls anywhere!! The Seagull website is better than it's been in years, but there's not much historical data. I've been extracting data from them and putting it in files to share.
I can't wait to be able to pull out the solid wood Seagulls when the cold dry weather finally goes away!! 38% down here with a big humidifier running.
Welcome to the Cabin, ancient1 . Kick your feet back and join the conversations. On the whole, I think you'll find us a friendly bunch of folks who love acoustic guitars, of all brands. I own two Seagulls myself at the moment, an Artist Studio and an older Performer that's actually more an S6 with a gloss finish and a QII pickup system.
Greetings, love your username, many of us here are getting a bit "long in the tooth," but still going pretty strong LOL!! I have 3 Godin products (all parlor size) and a Seagull 12-string (if you get the "bug" for a 12-string, don't overlook the Seagull 12!) You are in good company here!
