Hey Acoustic Cabin Dwellers! I could use a your help in a little experiment.
I have my original songs stored on my REVERBNATION site and supposedly you get "ranked" based on the degree of visitor activity ... login's, play's, download's, etc.
Right now, I'm ranked #4 (edit: That's # 4 in the Raleigh, NC area in the Folk category) ... I'd like to to see how much influence an influx visitor activity actually has on the rankings. Of course this is part ego trip, but mostly just simple curiosity.
If you feel like participating, just take a moment to click the link below and listen to a couple of songs.
Well I did visit your site and listened to a few of your songs, if not you may have dropped to 6th this week. Better luck next week. 😀
Faith Mercury, Parlour Guitar. Faith Venus, O.M, High Gloss, with cutaway. Sigma 000M-15 Solid Mahogany top, Mahogany back and sides. Sigma OMT-1 Solid Sitka Spruce top, Lime back and sides Burny LesPaul Goldtop. Fender M.I.M Player Stratocaster,in Polar White with Maple neck. Revelation Telecaster, Natural light gloss finish.
Very good!! How are you ranked #5?? I don't see you listed in any of those categories on the Charts page.
I'm only #5 in my local area (Raleigh, NC) in the "Folk" category ... it shows on the upper right side of the banner photo on my site. I agree totally that I should re-record most of my stuff in studio setting. It's just the cost involved. I guess I just got lucky on the two songs you mentioned. They were all recorded on my little inexpensive Samson Zoom Q3.
