Thanks for listening. I love flat picking DADGAD because of the huge open sound from all 6 strings and the economy of motion required toform chords. Win/Win!

My brother Gary has one of his guitars that he keeps in DADGAD, but I haven't spent too much time with it.
I do tune my octave mandolin to GDAD, which seems to have a very similar sound and blends well with Gary's DADGAD guitar. A kind of droney sound.
