Walden G1012EQ-SH - just bought from Reverb!

The Alvarez, or the Walden? 🤔😉

There is a pre-owned Alvarez AD60-12 going here for NZ $ 700. That's about 450 US. It's in mint condition. Has the B-Band SYS550 and a cutaway.

Do you think that's a good price. I'm not sure I need a 12-string as one of the guys in our worship team plays one almost exclusively, and I tend to either play 6 string acoustic or electric with him.

Nevertheless, it is quite tempting. Do you think 450 for a pre owned Alvarez Artist is a good price in US dollar terms ?

You really are an enabler! LOL!! TonyKGull, there are some pieces that just need a 12-string, everyone should have one! I like my 12-string Seagull, don't play it often, but sometimes I just get a "hankering" to hear it. Granted it was only $200 from a pawn shop, but deals are out there.  

I have the same concern as El Gull,.  And since I'm in a small apartment, having a big guitar sitting around that would most likely collect its fair share of dust......well, it's a hard sell for me.

But, if I come across a fantastic deal at a pawn shop or something like you did, I'd probably grab one; especially if it was an Alvarez or ....a runaway train couldn't stop me if I lucked into finding a Cole Clark 12-string!  Ha ha!
