Hi All, I joined this forum just yesterday as I recently bought a 2003 M6 Gloss in Dublin Ireland and Im looking for information on it. I got some info from Godin from the serial number as in I know it has a solid spruce top, laminated mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
Does anyone know if the electrics were factory fitted on these? The action seems high, that common? What would the Seagull equivalent of this be today of their present range? What was the price of these new and second hand? Were they a good seller and was there many produced? Generally any info is most appreciated.
M6 Gloss 6 String Dread. Built for seven years from 2000-2006; Solid Spruce top, Laminated Mahogany sides and back, Mahogany neck with Rosewood fingerboard Finish was natural high gloss. But you know all this
Scale: 24.84" Nut: 1.80" There is no mention of electronics, so I guess the Element preamp was added. Your label pic is out of focus. Can you try it again, with flash on? As for your other questions. I have never seen an M series Seagull so I have no opinion. Have fun!

seagullplayer Thanks for the reply. The action is quite high and its not that easy to play, I have $200 guitars that are easier to play. Im thinking the bridge and maybe a neck reset but I will have to wait until life returns to normal before I can get it to a Luthier. Its in similar condition to yours and is really loud!!
Hi just an update on the M6 Gloss. I dropped it into a luthier yesterday and the frets have to be relevelled and the saddle/bridge lowered. Total cost is €200. I will update with pics when i get it back in 10 days time.
