What once was the Open Mic has morphed into a "Virtual" Open Mic. 😷
First one was 4/13, second was last night, 4/21. I did not participate in either - although I would have if I'd been asked. Turns out my cell phone number and/or e-mail address must be some sort of state secret... 🙄😁

I just recorded my 2 songs for Virtual Open Mic night 4.0! Tune in to the links above @ 7:00 PM Eastern (19:00 for you 24:00 people 😉) on Monday, 5/4 to hear some mediocre singing and playing - from me, anyway... 🤔
I had the pleasure of hearing FloridaGull 's recordings early. You really should listen to the 'live' streaming broadcast next Monday -- I guarantee you'll not only hear our esteemed FloridaGull , but you'll also see something you're not expecting to see!
You can, of course, go to the link anytime afterwards and watch it as well - and the first 3, if you are truly bored... 😁
Just a reminder - although Joe is streaming live, our performances are pre-recorded. Please feel free to comment in the sidebar! Just remember, we are a supportive group - don't tell anyone they're bad, even if they are... 😉🙄
Look forward to seeing some Cabinmates in the comments! 😁😷

Constructive criticism said with grace is more loving and supportive than white lies or lying by omission, BUT, I do understand what you're trying to say here.
But seriously, had I not been gently criticized early in my guitar playing and singing days, I never would have acquired the desire to grow and get better and experience all the joy that comes with that. I would not want to be robbed of that joy and I wouldn't want to rob someone else of it either.
Nothing wrong with constructive criticism as long as it's delivered with grace.

===================================== One Alvarez in the hand is worth two Taylors and a Martin in the guitar store!
