Here's a question that's kinda sideways to the subject: I've found in solo gigs that I need to 'ration' my original music to no more than one or two a set (which is generally 12 songs or so), as the audience responds better to "songs they already know" than to "songs they've never heard before." If you happen to have a regular audience who comes to hear you, you might be able to get away with a few more, since your original songs willl slowly become "songs they already know," but...

Anyone else have the same experience?
