I'm going bed now to get some beauty sleep in, I have had a very busy day. Changed the strings on not one but two guitars, on the new to me Ibenez electric guitar and the Art and Lutherie Parlour guitar, fitted 11s gauge Nickel Bronze strings, and very nice sounding if I say so my self.. Good night everyone. Zzzzzzzzz
Well, since we're telling "what I did today stories" before bed.......
Got up this morning, only had time for one coffee.
Had to go my Dad-in-law's place to get him clothes and shoes because he's in the hospital from a nasty fall and a following operation. Anyways, had to get his clothes and shoes because someone stole his at the hospital. Nice huh?
Had to wait a long time outside because they won't let anyone in to visit for any reason unless the patient is dying. That's not a joke, that's actually what they're doing.
Then had to get gas, go to the bank and pick up a few things.
Then came home and made a Baritone Ukulele chord chart and quick guide (with progressions to practice) for a lady at church and who's learning. Said I would do it, so it had to get done.
Had to do the dishes and clean a pot that my wife thoroughly burned some sort of cream of clam chowder or whatever concoction to but good. Took me over 20 minutes to find the stainless steel at the bottom again.
Then had to practice for leading the praise team tomorrow at church for a double service to accommodate physical distancing, so, going to be playing the music twice. Packed up all my gear when I was done.
Then made dinner for the wife and I cuz she's gotta catch up on work cuz of the whole taking care of the in-laws at the present due to the injury, operation and C-19 things just eating so much time.
Then just finished the Baritone Uke guide and sent it out.
Saturdays are supposed to my day of rest. We'll try again next weekend. I'm going to bed now.
===================================== One Alvarez in the hand is worth two Taylors and a Martin in the guitar store!
Now that is not what I call a fun day especially when you have been working all week. Anyway as I used to say, there's always next week. Wishing your farther in law a speedy recovery. Wish we could see an end to this virus thing. Anyway night night.
