Hope things get back to normal soon, don't forget to get that guitar out, always seem to make life that more relaxed and enjoyable. Glad you didn't kill the kittens, they can be hard to catch at times.

The VE5000SB-12 Statesboro came Wednesday, August 5th! 😊
Seemed to have made it across the pond in reasonably good shape!
The pickup was loose inside the guitar, but other than that all seems to be reasonably well. I put the pick up on the sound hole where I thought it should go, and tuned her up to one step down, put a capo on the second fret - sounds really nice!
It is a 26 and 1/2 inch scale length. I had to adjust the bridge, which was askew from shipping, and used my handy-dandy tape measure to measure to 26 and 1/2 inches. I think I got it right!
This 12 string has more pronounced mids than most 12 strings do. I like it! Perhaps it has to do with the body size or shape, or maybe the Floating Bridge and trapeze tailpiece? Whatever, I like the sound for my fingerstyle playing. It is very even across the tonal range.
