thisoldman , Is this a conventional looking bridge? Like there are six holes, each holding a pin? So those pins (these special ones) fit the holes, but are unlike other pins because they are too skinny, too thin? A picture of your bridge would be very helpful here, but rather than try to get pins to fit the bridge, why not enlarge the diamter of the holes to make them fit some standard bridge pins? (e.g. 2A)?
To clarify: Looking down at the top of the guitar, you see the bridge, it sits on the top of the guitar. Inside the guitar is the bridge plate, directly below the bridge. So it is a sandwich, with the top glued in between the bridge and the bridge plate. The pin holes are drilled through the bridge, the top, and the bridge plate.
I’m sorry. We’re hijacking this thread (though where it is going is interesting)... thisoldman , maybe you should start another about your need to replace the bridge pins - ?
