Hey not too shabby! BTW to fill the little screw holes quickly you can just break off a toothpick in there. Congratulations!
Thanks, orphan holes, being closer together than new ones, are under the machines. You do not see them in last picture.
Next project on this guitar: I've order a replacement cover. I will cut away the palm rest and make it removable.
There is nothing vintage or collectable about this resonator, so I feel free "improving" it to meet my needs. There are a few things: i hate that you have to take strings off to take cover off. I hate that you have to take strings and cover off and then put strings back on to do a setup! ..and then take string off to put cover back on and put strings back on... and on... and on...

Looks fine to me. The tuners are a little off, that can be fixed if it bothers you. Masking tape is fine , it will even accept wood glue, if the tape crushes over time.
I've seen lots of tuners off, not of mine have open gears yet they manage to drill the hole for the single screw off. I only notice it by eye if I take the time to really look. I've seen this on $2,000 guitars.
