That armrest thing is really catching on with guitar brands, especially on the Grand Auditorium sized guitars.  Love, love, love that feature on my Alvarez GA.   

FloridaGull,  I only have 3 complaints or criticisms about this guitar.  (Oh great!  here we go.)  

1) I dunno if holes in the bracing will actually allow the top to vibrate or resonate more.  It will reduce weight, yes.  But I believe only scalloped and other shapes of bracing that allow the bracing itself to actually "give" a bit will provide more resonance.  From a pure physics standpoint anyways.  But, meh, who knows.

2) They had me but lost lost me with the Fishman Presys pickup system.  I've had that very system in a few guitars and while not bad, I did not find it stellar.  But, it ain't the worst either.

3) Third and FINAL complaint is:  Why don't I have this guitar!?  That is definitely a gorgeous piece of musical instrumentation.   

May that pretty lady provide many, many moons of joy filled music and song for ya!

It was just called the Presys.  It was not dual source so nothing to blend.  The only dual source ones I've had, that I can recall right now, is the QII from Godin, the B-Band dual source (2 different models I think), the triple source from Cole Clark and the dual source in my Alvarez Masterworks dread.

One of the Seagulls I bought way, way back, I picked up at the store the day it arrived at the store.  Paul had not had a chance to open and check it yet.  I was in a rush, so I just paid him for it, grabbed it and took it home.  He said if there's any issues, just let him know.

So, it had not been touched since put in that cardboard box and foam wrap at the Godin factory.  Took it out of the box, checked it, it was in tune.  So, it is possible.

Now, to be fair, it's actually not a very long trip from the "factory" where it was built to my place.  It's only one province over. (I think the drive is only about 8 to 10 hours, maybe 12 tops)  That's probably a relatively short distance compared to the trip most guitars make from their factories to the final customer's hands.  So, that's a consideration too.

When I have sold/shipped any of my guitars, I always de-tune them. However, when I bought my Cort L-500 O off of Reverb, it arrived pretty close to being in tune, which I thought was odd... 🤔
