Epiphone EL-00 Mahogany Vintage Sunburst

This Epiphone EL-00 Mahogany in a nice vintage sunburst came up on my radar at a store here locally brand new for $449 CAD ($359 USD). It has a solid mahogany top rather that solid spruce. It's also 24.75" scale which I want. Since I have two nice dreads I am kind of interested in a smaller body guitar having had a Martin 000-15 years ago I think mahogany tops sound nice. I don't really need the electronics but hey it's a bonus!
I was actually looking at this Epiphone Hummingbird Artist that I stumbled upon while searching online for the newer Epiphone Pro series sold at the same store. This new "Inspired By Gibson" line is way out of my budget and that's why I was searching for info on the new Pro series from Epiphone. I've always loved the Hummingbird. I do like the Hummingbird look with just the plain pickguard. This HB Artist model does not have a solid top though hence the $200 price difference. That is not really an issue for me. I just wonder if it truly has a 24.75" scale length as this is what I'm looking for. I know some of them had the 25.5" scale like the Dove a few years back even though Epiphone advertised it as the same Gibson 24.75" scale length. I know for sure that the EL-00 is 24.75" scale.
Luckily this store is 10 mins from my place so I will possibly try to get there tomorrow and see if I can try them out. I am not sure if they are even open for walk in business since my city is enforcing more Covid 19 restrictions. If I can try them I will report back. If I like that EL-00 I may have an NGD in the future.
