Well, thank your lucky stars shipping is available.  That's a heck of walk! 

CTGull, I still have one of the originals with the beige canvas wrap on it with a pocked on the front.   Love that thing to death!  My #1 baby, my Alvarez Masterworks dread lives in that Tric case. 

That case is so perfect for temp and humidity stability that I hardly ever have to tune my dread which is quite sensitive to that stuff being all solid wood.

My GA sits in one of the new Tric cases.  Don't like them as much, but they  are  just as stable for temp and humidity as the old ones.  Just don't like the super tight fit.

My folk, sadly, sits in my ancient black hard shell case.  She requires a bit more attention.  Luckily, she's only solid wood on top and the rest laminate.  When I take her places though, she gets moved to the gig bag she came with which is amazing, just not for daily storage and temp and humidity stability.

Don't know that I ever came across one of those in particular.   Would love to see a couple of pics of it.
