Gee, Ma, Look What Followed Me Home...

I've been keeping an eye out for a mahogany guitar for a while. Spotted this yesterday on a local board, picked it up this morning. It's a mint 2017 Cort L450C, came to the seller new just over a year ago; solid okoume top and back, lam okoume sides. Very light, tidy fit with a nice satin finish, quite plain with subtle appointments like small snowflake markers and the abalone rosette. Neck feels just fine, action is just a hair high...that'll get adjusted out when the guitar gets used to the low tension strings. Just restrung it with Newtone Heritage Series Low tension .010-.043s...we'll see how it settles in over the next few days, but I think the real light strings on that small mahogany body is going to work...lots of high end sparkle and nice smooth bass. Don't see a lot of Cort guitars around in this part of the North Atlantic ocean...
