Dave's World of Fun Stuff

I've seen a bunch of his videos.  Ya, he can be entertaining for sure.  I don't always agree with some of his opinions or even some of the choices he makes when doing certain things to guitars, but for sure I still enjoyed a whole whack of his vids over the years. 

Herewith begins the thread hijacking... tsk, tsk. What happened to "Dave's World"? 

RobertW, maybe you should spin this "hijacktion" into it's own "Canadian Humor" thread. (I am a Canadian taxpayer but not an official Canuck, FWIW.)

Seriously, folks, valid and viable topics are getting pretty easily (and quickly) derailed into off-topic smiley-fests. I like to have fun as much as the next guy but I also come here for a reason, and that's guitar talk.  Sorry to be a party pooper, but serious topics turning into jokefests has turned many a forum visitor away (and we are trying to grow this thing, aren't we?).

For those of you who've seen Dave's World of Fun Stuff, it looks like he deleted the channel.  www.youtube.com/user/davey4557  There has been some discussion in his Facebook group, but I sounds like he's had problem with Youtube and getting hacked a few times.  He was hacked again today and I guess that was the last straw.  GONE!!!  I guess we'll eventually find out what happened and if there is is a chance his video's we come back somewhere else.  www.facebook.com/groups/709188682862895/

Also, there is another guy in Ontario, Ted Woodford, who has a great guitar repair channel. He's quite skilled and very intelligent, with a droll sense of humor. I can't say I've seen him work on a Seagull yet, but a few Canadian brands have come across his workbench. www.youtube.com/user/twoodfrd
