I found this when I clicked on a hyper-linked guitar in someone's signature on the AGF. Not only a rather stupifying player that I can barely process but the guitar is also magnificent! I think he makes this pop song more palatable (to me anyway) with his acoustic version of it.

RockyMtnGull ,This guy has an amazing amount of dexterity. TonyKgull , I see what you mean about the headstock. I saw an Applegate guitar on www.dreamguitars.Com that also has a similar shaped headstock. The body was a little more traditional, and the fanning of the frets seems to be a little more pronounced. There is also a video of one being played, not quite like the guy above.
Price on on the Applegate more like $6k to $7k.

There are guitarists that make you pick up your guitar and try to learn what they are doing...and then..there are guitarists so good, they make you wonder why you bother to play at all

RobertW, Those are the young, impressionable, dreamers that haven't realized or known what commitment is (Okay, that may be a rather strong generalization). I'm much too old and jaded to be tricked into thinking I have enough time left on this earth to be of renown in the guitar playing world. I don't even rank in my own little world!!!

RockyMtnGull , finding & helping others find those magic moments in the music is what keeps me at it. If I can bring an hour or two of enjoyment to someone like my mother, who was a musician all her life but can no longer play, I've done something good. I'm sure in that context your world has its moments in which you rank pretty high.....

That's the magical thing about playing guitar. There's so many ways to experience and share the experience of the joy that is singing and playing a song. You don't quite have the same freedom on any other instrument that you have on an acoustic guitar. What a wonderful blessing it is to have one; even if you just know a few chords and a few songs.
