Hi There,

First post...

I was delighted to find out there is a forum for people who seem to feel the same way about their Seagull's that I do. Nice banter too.

I have an S6 I bought in Wellington, NZ in 1990. I took it for granted for years until I had a go on a Takamine which cost 5 times as much. I much preferred the Seagull.... I thought this was an aberration, but I still haven't played a guitar I like better. I also like it because its old and a bit scruffy and worn around the edges too (like me). It has been re-fretted once.

That's about it really.... Oh... here's me playing it...

bloxwichkiwi -- welcome to the Cabin! That's a lovely older S6 you have there, and some nice playing and singing as well. Old and scruffy and worn around the edges describes a lot of us here.

Incidentally I just got a reply back from Michel at Godin customer service because I was interested to know when my guitar was made. It was actually 1989, which is no big surprise as I bought it in 1990.
