Pura Vida ,RobertW ,Blackback Gull ,TonyKgull ,Derick ,CTGull , I guess I'm late to this party, and missed all the action... glad to hear you sold your Seagull, Pura Vida , and yes that means you can buy another..... I also am less enthralled with Mahogany that I used to be, but I think my Maritime (sitka spruce over mahogany) will stay with me a long time. Of course, if I run across the right guitar player, who needs that Maritime almost as much as the Maritime needs the guitar player, I would consider doing my part to bring harmony to the universe....

Thanks, Greg Ballantyne. With the time zone difference, I nearly missed it too. But that's all in the past, just like my two all-Mahogany guitars. My Maritime MJ is currently posted on CL... I've decided that I'm just not satisfied with the mid-range tones of my mahogany body guitars. At this stage of my journey, I'm clearing out the guitars that aren't truly "keepers," even if they are still very good instruments. I'd rather have them in someone else's hands, and it makes room for me to find ones that I'll personally appreciate more.
That being said, I am completely ecstatic with Eastman guitars and their Adi tops. Both my E40D and E40OM are beyond my expectations, and I have my eye on a third Eastman (more to follow, if that happens).
