There already was a Concert Hall Maritime SWS, they just added a cutaway.

Sounds good, but it would be nice to hear it acoustically.

I'm hoping they didn't change to the 1.72" neck.

Judson ,CTGull , I tried a few Seagull CH models over the last year or so. I found them to be nice guitars, but not materially different from their Folk body guitars. I like the look of the cutaway, the CH body shape is the right body shape (in my opinion) to make a cutaway aesthetically pleasing.

The last time I was I the shop in town there were a variety of CH Seagulls represented - but I didn't pay enough attention to see if any were SWS......I'll have another look the next time I'm in there.

I like the shape too! There currently is a Maritime SWS Concert Hall, but not with a cutaway.

I had a SWS Concert Hall I purchased used for about 6 months, and just traded it on a new SWS Concert Hall QIT. Both are great guitars that compare favorably to a Martin 000-16 GT I also used to own. I have also owned a couple seagull and D&P folk guitars in the past, but I think these were short scale and had slightly thicker bodies.

The cutaway on the Concert Hall body looks great, but I am done trading guitars for now.

Maybe I need to pick up some of the newer CH body guitars and give them a try. It's very possible Seagull is tweaking the build a little, and they might feel a little different from the first efforts. I still think I could get myself a nice smaller body guitar, and almost had one with a Coastline Folk..... but the voice of that guitar, while quite nice, was just a little thin around the edges. Maybe I'm looking for a little too much out a small body guitar, but a CH SWS might give me what I'm looking for.

The Concert Halls seem sensitive to string selection. I play either EJ17 or the new D'Addario med nickel/bronze strings on them, with a low setup. The NB 1356 are pretty amazing, but a bit expensive. String tension is lower than Ej17s, so they play really easy and sound great on the CH.

I've noticed that about Seagulls in general - I've ended up sticking with d'Addario EJ16 or EJ17 on mine. For a short time I thought Erie Ball AB were the right string for my Maritime, but went back to EJ16 after the second set.....
