Spring and sleepy guitars wake up

My 2004 Seagull S6+ Folk has had the same Elixir Nanoweb PB lights for 5 years!!! They are dirty in the common playing positions but the guitar still sounds great!! It hangs over the bed and doesn't get much use, but a couple of nights ago my wife was filling out something with our daughter and I wanted to get ready for bed, so I pick up the guitar and noodled on it for may half an hour. It sounded great!!

It may spend most of its time sleeping, but it sounds great for the rare minutes I do play it. And since I rarely use it I can't see changing the strings.
