I find the sound to be mellow but rich with lots of resonance. Not as rich and full as my Artist Studio, but very passable for the limited noodling I will be doing. The Artist is for sale but I still have the S6 (for now).
RobertW, FloridaGull, Y'know, 'hurting hands' is what brought this on. I went to see a fella about a 000 Fender, but the neck was awkward, more "O" shaped. As I drove away disappointed, I remembered the address of the woman with the Epi, 5 minutes away. I had not written it down and had no plan to see it. She happened to be home! I had the guitar in my hands 2 minutes and I knew I was buying it. I humbly confess I got it for a song. Took it home, cleaned it, oiled it, adjusted the action, and installed new Elixir Nanowebs and ... viola ... It cradles nicely in my lap and the reach and hand grasp are not issues. The electronics work perfectly. I've probably played more since I got it than I've played in 2 months, with no deleterious effects. To happier days!
