I received an email last week hoping my recent experience with them was a good one...
so, I replied to the CEO about my recent (and over all grievances) ... the last experience was with my Gator Travel Bag (an excellent product, BTW) taking 12 days to get here and not gettin any interaction from the "sales engineer" (from any of the 3 I've dealt with) about the after the fact follow ups and especially with the bag... I allowed as how I didn't/wasn't expecting a price concession, but I do demand acknowledgement which I've not received...
I've read numerous reviews about Sweetwater "sales engineer" feed back and there are several where the customer received an out of the blue call/inquiry about the product. I've never received that. The only acknowledgement I've ever gotten is the email confirming my order, which is nothing more than filling in the blanks...
Keep in mind, I praise Sweetwater every time I speak to any of them...telling them (and anyone who will listen) that their business model should be the industry standard... I stand by that still.
Today I got a call from the Customer Service Sales Manager... Justin is his name. We had a good conversation... at the end of the conversation he offered me a 100 dollar gift certificate, which I declined because the bag was only 130 dollars... he insisted... I accepted a 75 dollar gift card...
Refer now, to the above paragraph about, the industry standard.
worked on it, which will include a new saddle. If you recall I had to make a saddle, for the saddle, from tin foil because it (the saddle) is sloppy in its groove... I'll get him to make the pin holes more to my liking as well... I want that thang to give me what I want... an icon, even a knock off should be iconic... right?!
