I have an Artist Mosaic that I bought after selling a Gibson LG1 that I loved, but wanted something full dread size. The Gibson was from the 1950s and I was ready to part ways (though I wish I had the foresight to have kept it, but needed the $$). So my serial number on the Mosaic is 02364132. Which I think means it’s from 2003. The scale should be 24 if I recall correctly.
Did Artist series go to 25 and if so, when? I’d like to acquire another on or possibly some other guitar from Godin/Seagull and get the shorter scale. I also like the nut width at 1.8 as it suits my large fingers. But I’ve played many 25 scale guitars (Taylor and Martin) with smaller nut widths and they seem fine. The Artist does have a smidge more width and I do like that.
So what Seagull models have the shorter scale and the wider nut. I’d like to focus this search.
