YES!!! We got to meet and even hug her!!! She offered me a hug at the beginning AND after talking!! She even asked my name. My daughter said she didn't ask her name and had to ask for a second hug.
After a 2.5 hour ride on some of the finest highways in NY (YA RIGHT!!) I found a parking space on the street 2 cars from the door!! While parallel parking I almost hit a tree! We got there 3.5 hours before the show and were third in line. I was lucky enough to have a metal stool to sit on while we waited. I could see thru a porthole window into the venue. I saw her getting interviewed AND do the soundcheck. No one outside out side the first 6 people had any clue any of this was happening. I had the only spot where this could be seen. Everyone else was too short. She performed for only haft an hour. We were right on the edge of the stage, as was the mic and her keyboard. While my daughter and her friend were diagonally 5-6 feet from her, I was about 12 feet away (I stayed in the front corner to not block anyone's view) I had awkward eye contact with her a few times anytime she was on the keyboard since I was directly in front of her. We were in the meet and greet line for over 2 hours, the first hour outside in the COLD and WIND!!! My daughter's friend had a panic attack while talking to her and lost it. Then we had a long 2 hour ride home back to CT!! Got to bed at midnight, up at 4:45 to go to work.
