The square label is pre-2009 - and, before the QII, Artists had the LR Baggs pickup...

The Artist Mosaic you're looking at would have a solid mahogany back, but at that point, all sides for all Seagull guitars were hardwood laminate.  So you'd have a solid cedar top and solid mahogany back, but laminated mahogany sides.

Just to facilitate GAS as much as possible, the shop is about 30 minutes or so from me, and I would be willing to go on down there and try/check it out for anyone who might seriously be considering it...

Wolfe is only open until 6, and I can't make it during the week...so I would go Saturday, except I have to work all weekend to cover for another analyst. I might be able to get there late on Saturday afternoon, though - I'll keep you posted!
