Yea, I know. New Years resolution, spend less on guitars, fix what I have, learn to play more, etc. BUT!! This is a fairly rare model. I've only seen a handful for sale, usually at crazy prices. I didn't get this cheap, $281 plus $64 shipping on Shopgoodwill.com.

I knew I wouldn't be home when the bidding ended so I threw a number at it 3 hours before it ended, assuming it would go for $300 to $400. I was wrong. The shipping is a killer. I've complained to this Goodwill location that they're losing sales because of their extremely high shipping cost, the average is about $30 less. But, it's in transit. Expected delivery Tuesday 7/10. Ironically, my wife will be out of state with our daughter for most of next week. Hmmm...
I've talked to this guy a few times and am hoping to drive 5+ hours up to extreme upstate NY (near the Canadian border) to meet him later this month. schryver.us/guitars/yamaha/ He's probably part of the reason I started collecting data on vintage Yamaha FG's. He's recorded serial numbers for over 90 FG-360's in the past 12 years.
There are 3 versions of it. My guitar is the rarest version, with it being the 12th he's recorded. Although the most desired version is the FG-360N with ebony fretboard and bridge. Oddly, the "N" isn't on the labels, it's just assumed the ones with ebony fretboards & bridges are the FG-360N. More Yamaha mysteries.
