There's another Vega banjo that just moved in with its brothers; a mid-1960's Vega Professional plectrum four string. The Vega family now owns the entire back wall of the walk-in closet.
Despite the changes to the neighborhood I still say the "mediocre Asian banjo" got what was coming to it.
