This area is for members to share their own compositions, arrangements and performances with others, It is NOT for advertisements, either direct or implied.
Please do not use the FILE ATTACHMENT button to upload material. We have limited free storage here.
Video: you can easily link to your performances on YouTube or similar site. Use the 4th Icon in the second row of buttons. (The Movie Clapper icon)
Audio: You need to have your mp3s on a 3rd party site that you can link to. (1st Icon on 2ed row)
Some examples are Google Drive, Soundcloud. It is preferable to use a site that provides a player, like Google Drive, otherwise people will forced to download and then play your performance.
There are also sites that help you to post an MP3 on YouTube by adding a picture or video ; this google search result page shows dozens.
Image: As far as images are concerned, please be careful with the Insert Image icon (3rd Icon , 2ed row). If you upload from your computer, you are using up our limited storage space. We prefer that you to use an offsite storage facility so only links are stored in your posting. Pictures inserted with the Insert Image icon, using an off-site storage Image URL, display full size, without taking up storage space..
The Add Image To Post button, will upload your image from your HDD or from a URL you provide, to the offline site imgBB and a thumbnail will be created along with the BBCode to display it.. The thumbnail will appear in the post (but not uploaded to the board), and linked to the full size image.
Please note, if you provide a URL, it must directly link to a jpg. Note that shared Google Photos do not provide direct links. You will need to add -tmp.jpg to end of the url (right after -no) Google Photos gives you.
Some picture storage sites are Imgur, TinyPic, PhotoBucket, PostImage, Flicker.
