Shaving the Sigma 000M-15 saddle

Derick ,No, not of CTGull , he's is too ambitious for me But, you however, the guy that buys guitars and does a setup on every one? That's who I wanna be. I want all my guitars to be satisfied and to be satisfying.

I have been ordering tools and I am considering the following projects:
-converting Ibanez Artwood Parlour to nylon string by replacing nut with one cut for wider trebles string (waiting on nut files)

-redoing the saddles on my Gretsch resonator, so that both are the same type and better compensated. A few years ago I replaced the treble saddle. Why was another tech horror story.

-replace the plastic bridge pins on my Coastline 12 with Bloodwood pins. They may have to be shaved to fit so I will need to make a jig to hold them. Check relief and action

-check relief and action on the Martin and the Alvarez Baritone, adjust if needed, replace plastic pins,
if bridge and saddles are not Tusq or bone, replace them.

-and then, there is the banjo and the two mandolins

-I want to learn fret leveling & crowning and fret ends filing, finish buffing, tuning machine upgrading etc. 

Derick , I NEVER want a store tech to touch ANY of my instruments EVER again. The screw ups they have done to Siggy and the resonator have taught me a lesson.

That is very true!  I get a lot of enjoyment fixing them!!  But it's not without risk, sometimes lots!!
