No, no. This is not about Alvarez's recent 50th anniversary. This month is the 2 year anniversary of my Alvarez AG70CEAR Grand Auditorium acoustic. Literally the last rosewood back and sides guitar they had when I bought it. They don't make rosewood back and sides guitars anymore. At least, not for now. They may come back.
Spent over 16 years looking for keepers. A few slipped away (I still cry a little inside having had to let go of my Cole Clark years ago), but when I found Alvarez, I was so hoping and thinking "these are keepers!"
"Only time will tell" as they say and time is definitely telling.
Went through a lot of guitars in that time and was starting to think I'd never find a keeper cuz no guitar lasted much more than a year. (Again, except for that Cole Clark).
Happy to say, the love affair with my 3 Alvarezes continues and looking forward to many more anniversaries! Any other recent guitar anniversaries here?
Oh ya. That armrest? Looks really cool, but it's practical purpose, the comfort, is way cooler!
===================================== One Alvarez in the hand is worth two Taylors and a Martin in the guitar store!
You have got me checking when I had my guitars. The Faith Parlour guitar will be having a Birthday next week, it will be it's third Birthday and is the oldest guitar I own, still play the little beauty, was playing it earlier to night.
