When checking out Gabriella Quevedo on G7th website, I noticed that Canada was relegated to the REST OF THE WORLD with no FREE shipping.

Shipping costs & normal delivery times:
USA:
Free Standard mail (takes 10-14 working days). Optional 48 Hour delivery with tracking number +$15

United Kingdom:
Free Standard Post (takes 1-3 working days). Optional 24 Hour delivery with tracking number +£5

Mainland Europe:
Free Standard mail (takes 4-7 working days).Optional 48 Hour delivery with tracking number +€15

Rest of the World:
Tracked service $15 (takes 10-14 working days). Optional Premium tracked service $25 (takes 5-7 working days).

I emailed to ask why they thought Canada was a problem destination.

I got this reply today:

Hi Rob,

Thanks for getting in touch! To be honest, I’ve always wondered that myself… I did a bit of investigating and I’m told that shipping costs to Canada are almost identical to what we pay for the US so there’s no good reason for it! I had a quick look to see if I could alter the settings on the website myself, but unfortunately it’s a little beyond my web skills. We’re updating our website very soon so we’re going to make sure it’s amended on there.

In the meantime, if you do want to purchase something through the website then I can give you a discount code that will correct the prices for you.

To be fair, I actually don't see how shipping in Canada could be the same as in the UK, US. I wish it was in all cases seeing as I'm Canadian, but I'm just trying to be fair here.

Canada has a relatively small population spread out over one of the largest distances of any country because we're one of the biggest countries out there, geographically speaking of course.

So it just seems logical to me that shipping costs here would be a bit more. Again, just trying to be fair here, not saying I want to pay more for shipping or anything!

Just that I'd understand why if and when that is the case.

It's just letter post. It's not Purolator! You aren't being fair,

you are comparing mail service in Canada to Africa and South America.

It's the same distance from England to either USA or Canada. It does not matter how big the destination country is. Just how far away it is from sender. England has special privileges with Canada, that it does not have with USA, so shipping is probably a bit cheaper for them (UK).

Anyways, the problem is a website oversight, not cost related.
