Same here. My Alvarez GA actually calls an old Tric case (the beige one with canvas covering) it's permanent home. The case is pretty old, but still as good as the day I bought it.

Put the rosewood backed Maritime to death (consignment sale) and got a hard case for the mahogany backed Maritime.

Interesting. Why did you not like the rosewood backed one enough to keep it?

Dilemma! 🤔

I forgot how sweet a guitar the Walden G1070 is... 🙄

I took it off the wall to play it - I had forgotten how the shape of the neck, action, and string spacing make this a very comfortable guitar for me to play. All the songs I wanted to play @ the Cypress on Ocean Open Mic last night flowed through my fingers - so, I used it last night.

The G1070 has no electronics, so I thought I could live without it - untrue! And, I have the iRig Acoustic Stage Microphone, which allows me to "amplify" my 4 guitars without electronics...

I thought I wanted the tones of a "mellow" electric, but now I'm not so sure... 🤔🤕

I have 12 guitars, which is sort of a self-imposed limit...

GAS hurts! 😊😁😵

I was of two minds about keeping two Maritimes. There was a slight tonal difference in the mahogany Maritime version that I liked better than the sound of the rosewood version. I got the mahogany Maritime almost by chance after I'd bought the rosewood model. The price was half off and I could cover that with pocket money. I like the overtones mahogany gives.

I'd had the rosewood Maritime on consignment for a month, when overcome by feelings of guilt, I went to retrieve it. Found out it had sold the day before. To assuage my guilt and shame for what I'd done to that fine guitar, I did what any reasonable person would do: bought a banjo to take its storage space!

I've two classical guitars; one a spruce/rosewood and the other cedar/mahogany. They aren't directly comparable because of the top wood, but I prefer the sound of the cedar/mahogany. The rosewood is no slouch in performance - each note is crisp and loud as a rifle shot. The only thing I still wonder is what the sound of a spruce/mahogany classical would be. Unless a Cordoba spruce/mahogany shows up at an extremely low price, don't think I'll be buying any more guitars.

About 90 % of my guitar playing is on the nylon string classicals. I'm happy with the Maritime, though. It nicely fills the need for a steel string being available. Besides, why buy more guitars when more banjos are what anyone needs.
