Checked out her channel. Wow. She writes and sings some great folk songs. I don't like the banjo much, but I do like the way she plays it. She has a really nice, deeper voice too. Very cool.

Nice video, I like a bit of Banjo.
Used to have a 5 string and a 4 string Banjo, but the wife was not to keen.
Keep saying I will get another 5 string Banjo and fit Nylon strings to it, see if that mellows it down a bit, and the volume down a lot.

I play mainly clawhammer style nowadays. When I was younger and arthritis hadn't yet set into my thumbs, I played 3-finger bluegrass style as well, but my 3-finger style is pretty slow these days. I actually prefer clawhammer style.
Here are my friend Al Kirby and I doing a banjo duet, with Al on the Scruggs style and me on clawhammer. Our buddy Zeke Mazurek plays a verse on fiddle as well. I always send this one out to my darlin' lovely wife, Maggie, and now that we're both senior citizens. . .

I found a cassette player, so I decided to see if I could transfer the sound of an old cassette recording that Maggie and I made 30 or 40 years ago. It didn't capture the sound of the banjo very well, but. . .
