Eucalyptus and things

I just thought, you are very lucky to have parts of your guitar made from Eucalyptus, if you playing your guitar and get a stuffy nose, a couple of good deep sniffs at the sound hole should clear your nose no problem.

I was just the other day, actually  looking  for the speakers on my laptop, wondering, "Where are the stupid speakers on this thing and why are they so pathetic?"  Ha ha!

It never dawned on me that they could be underneath the thing on the bottom.  lol.

I use my Bose bluetooth speaker for it when watching my UFC events etc, but otherwise, I don't like to waste the battery (the Bose thing takes awhile to charge) on pedestrian tasks etc.

New one on me, never heard of okoume until now. Comes from west Africa along with most other woods. Came across a note where it sometimes causes eye and throat irritation.

blues90,  If my budget was 1300 bucks, I could get an all solid wood Alvarez or Cort.  Those would be the only guitars in that price range that would also offer the 1.75" nut width.  I could get other brands in that price range as well, but they'd probably have nut widths I don't like. 

The Alvarez would have to come as a  bit  of a deal (cuz it would be another Masterworks at least) from my guitar store guy, but he would do it for me, he always does if I'm in need, which thankfully, hasn't been too often.

Never be afraid to ask for a deal.  If one really wants an all solid wood guitar, and you're patient, there's many ways to get one without  completely  breaking the bank. 

I would imagine in the U.S. one could get an Alvarez Masterworks for around, or even slightly under 1300 bucks.  But I dunno for sure, that's just my guess.
