Singers turned actors and vice versa

I know this is  a "guitar" forum and not a singer forum (or actor) but the thread about Guitar Hero made me think about singers who acted also- I read one time when someone asked Willie to compare acting to performing like he does on stage, he allowed there is no difference- now, that is him- he is what he is on or off stage or camera- but, Kris Kristofferson is/was also a good actor- Waylon, meh, okay- Johnny Cash, meh, not so much, - then the other way, John Schnieder was a fair to midlin actor (Dukes of Hazzard) who also sings pretty dadgum good, and Jeff Bridges too- believe it or not, Kevin Costner ain't half bad- oh, another singer turned actor- Ryan Bingham- the parts he's played in Yellowstone he did really good!

I'm sure there are more- see things like this are what come to mind when I think
