Thanks for the nice reply, I didn't take your initial replay to be terse.

I dread to think how many guitars I've bought, sold, traded or Swapped.
Think I've had every size of guitar from Parlour, Folk, Classical, 000, O.M., Dreadnought and not forgetting the Mini Jumbo, and Jumbo, also a fair range of Electric guitars.
With a combination of materials of construction consisting of solid top woods from, various types of Spruce, Mahogany, Redwood Cedar, Canadian Cedar, Maple, and Trembesi.
I was trying to analyse myself as to why so many guitars, and I'm sure there will be a few more to follow, maybe it's due to all the sizes, materials of construction, just thought never played or tried a Carbon Fiber guitar, all I know is that I like guitars, there is nothing I enjoy more than spending a few hours in a well stocked guitar store. I enjoy getting a new guitar and setting it up just the way I like it.
I do regret it when I have to sell or trade a guitar to buy another, but I couldn't physically keep all of them.
I do envy people who only have one guitar and play it till its totally worn out.
The only thing is, I wish I could do is play better, and it's not through lack of practice (maybe the wrong type of practice), enthusiasm, interest or the amount of time I've been trying to play the guitar.

Derick, I appreciate you and your thoughtful responses- now, consider, if I had been at this as long as you guys how many guitars I'd have - holy cow! I'd have to rent a storage facility or, get rid of some junk (I don't need) in my second bed room- but, doin either of those would put guitars out of sight out of mind and I don't want either of those to happen- again, so many guitars, so little time- almost as many guitar choices as there are song choices- fortunately, right now, I'm not too crowded- and I could, I guess, move the card table I have holdin books and CD's and make a little more room, but, it's just so handy

I only had 3 acoustics in 2018 and was fine with this. Then got two more in 2021 and then added another yesterday. I added three more in the sense I am looking for a certain tone, do I need 6 heck no. Each one has something different to offer and none are expensive max $400. Most are what may people describe as camp fire or knock around. 3 are in the $200 range. Each one makes me play different,because of the way it feels and sounds. Sure If I just had one and for most of the 58 years I've been playing I just had one I did and could live with that.

Back in the 50's I used to buy and glues together model cars. Then in the 60's my BIL got into slot car racing I used some of the model cars and trucks and turned them into slot car same scale. The 70s I didn't have any of it don't know what happened to it. I just got into fishing the collected reels and mainly fly reels and made and bought some rods. And in the 80's still was into the fly fishing and got into HO model trains.

I still have some fly reels and rods and HO trains even fly tying tools. I sold most of it and kept what didn't sell.

Through all those decades my number one was guitars.

One day I'll find a way to sell the train stuff and work on the fishing stuff. I see no point in hanging onto things I will never use. Been so long I don't remember what trains and reels and rods I have. I have a 3 35mm old cameras I used to use and they too sit.

Once I have the time and find the way all of it is out of here. I sold most of the fishing stuff in the 90's what didn't sell I kept and some was given to me. The fishing stuff seems to be the most difficult to sell. No One seems interested. I just want my guitars and amps. Maybe a few old reels and trains that have a memory attached.
