GUITAR JOURNEY TIP
β
When's the last time you reflected on the start of your guitar journey?
Today, you're going to take a closer look at your acoustic guitar journey...
First, take a look at where you started.
What did it look like when you began playing guitar? How old were you? What motivated you to play?
What did your first guitar smell like? What did you first learn? What intimidated you?
Think of all of these questions and try and paint the most vivd picture you can of what it looked like when you first picked up the acoustic guitar.
Once you have recreated that moment, stop and take note of where you are at now on your guitar journey.

Gratitude Abounds
If you have just started guitar, today could be that very day that I am asking you to remember.
You may be excited to begin your guitar journey. You may feel a bit intimidated.
You may even be impatient because of your excitement!
I want you to do your best to revel in these emotions β even the ones that don't seem helpful at the moment.
Eventually β months or even years from now β you will look back with fondness on that first day that you decided to become a guitar player.
If you have been playing a while, this will give you pause in your daily playing habit to marvel at your entire guitar journey.

Specifically, reflect on...
the lessons you have learned.
the small wins you have had.
the songs you have played.
the people you have met.
the struggles you have overcome.
What does this reflection stir in you?
Gratitude? Excitement? Perhaps a renewed sense of wonder and joy?
Remembering back to that very first moment you picked up the guitar serves a distinct purpose in everyone's guitar journey.
There is no better way to zoom out and realize that your unique guitar journey is a process that is meant to be enjoyed.
