Garland,

Cort make loads of guitars, and make loads of guitars for other guitar companies, so they know what they are doing.

The guitar not bad actually quite good for the price, but I would not buy it personally due to laminated top, don't really like black guitars, had a few over the years don't keep them long, have better guitars so wouldn't use it.
But on the other hand, with it been all laminate you could play it anywhere and wouldn't need much looking after, nice design, slotted headstock, and nice tuners.
As they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

The AF590 (all laminate mahogany) and the SFX-CED NS are 2 totally different guitars. The ad for the AF590 refers one to "other things" one might like to peruse - like the SFX-CED NS... 🤔☺

The AF590 is a 12-fret, even. Nut width too narrow for me, but a nice guitar!

They do seem to have a mix-up in the "find more like this" part... 🤷

Bit confusing, if I click on your link it takes me to the black Cort model AF590 that's the guitar I based my comments on.
But there is a little picture to the side of the page showing the SFX-CED NS that has a solid Red Cedar Top and cutaway, if I click on that picture it takes me the SFX guitar, I like this guitar far better than the AF590.

The link that FloridaGull, sent takes me totally somewhere different.

All very confusing for a mere mortal like myself.

I have that same pick-up in my Gibson. It works good for me.

In a perfect world it would NOT be a 9volt battery hanging inside the guitar body you need to take strings off of to change. But, who is waiting for a perfect world...

My Faith and Crafter Guitars have a slide out drawn near to the strap button on the bottom of the guitar that houses the 9v battery far more convenient than the velcro bag inside the guitar for the battery, like some of my other guitars.
