Derick , I emailed the sales "engineer" I've been dealin with at Sweetwater and offered 800 for guitar and case- why? Because I didn't wanna wait til tomorrow

- of course I still have to wait til tomorrow to get a response, BUT, I had to do somethin!

BTW, fed ex still ain't got here- it was about 15 miles from me at the fed ex distribution center in Cypress as of 146 PM-

- it's now 655 PM

Edit: at 705 PM fed ex tracking said "potentially delayed"

Hope you get lucky with the Gretsch, it's a good looking guitar.

The Washburn should be delivered today, but I don't like the, potentially delayed, I hate waiting, last week had to wait three days for my guitar that felt like a month.

My Gretsch is a 5420, black, and my friend has a blue 5420. They are good guitars for the money. A step up would be the Japanese ones at 2 - 3 x the $$. Then a step up from that would be the USA models at 2- 3x that price. Of course a good amp would be essential to get the full effects of Gretsch sound.

Seagulls live 40 + years....so should our guitars
