Dread, still the mightiest of all.

So in the last few weeks, due to circumstances I won't into (not bad, all good) I've actually played all three of my guitars (Dread, GA, and Folk) quite often and in very short time intervals between them; giving me some good A/B/C comparisons I haven't had in quite a while.

I used to always say that I love all three of my Alvari so much that I wouldn't know which to pick if I had to just pick one, or get rid of just one.

That last couple of days though, my dread has just been taking my breath away.  I mean I love my GA, it's probably the best "all rounder" I've ever had and it's the most comfortable to play guitar I think I've ever had.  And the Folk is definitely the best folk sized guitar I've ever had.

But, man!  My dread is still a beast for volume, tone, resonance, and even the ability to get more nuance out of her when played soft or hard. She even has a subtle, built in natural reverb.  After I finished this one song, I strummed the last note quietly and just listened to it resonate for what seemed like forever till it finally faded away.  Wow.  I think I fell in love all over again.

After I tucked her away last night, I whispered to her, "Don't worry 'bout those younger ladies ol' gal, I will never leave you."
