They got here today and I put a set on the Rocket- first impression- a bit refined for my style, as I prefer a bit more raw, but, I guess a little time will tell the tale. It does have a spruce top and not mahogany which is a bit more mellow, at least with my 00015M- the Luna has a spruce top as well and mahogany laminate B and S, as opposed to wild cherry

The volume was actually pretty good and the quality of the string tones is excellent-

I'm actually growin quite fond of this guitar. The La Bella strings are awesome soundin from where I sit.

And, I'm having a debate with myself about stringing the black Lag with 'em- the Martin monels have been on it since sept 6

Pleased for you that the Seagull and Silk and Steel strings are working out for you.
I've tried two guitar shops, neither stock the Silk and steel strings, looks like I'll have to order them on-line.
Any idea how long they last for.

Derick, IDK anything about Seagull stings

I don't have a clue about the La Bella string life span.... either. As often as I change strings I doubt I'll ever know- but, I am going to enjoy them while they live....
